About Echo Flex

Echo Flex is an optional booking add-on designed to give you greater peace of mind when making your reservation at Echo Mountain Inn.
 

We understand that life is unpredictable. Whether it's an unexpected work commitment, a family emergency, illness, or simply a change of plans, Echo Flex offers greater flexibility should you need to cancel your stay.
 

By adding Echo Flex to your booking, you'll enjoy more flexible cancellation options than our standard booking policy, helping to reduce the financial impact of unforeseen changes.
 

For a small once-off fee, you can book with confidence, knowing you've added an extra layer of flexibility to your stay.
 

Because great stays should start with peace of mind.

Echo Flex Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibility

Echo Flex is an optional booking add-on available on selected direct bookings with Echo Mountain Inn. It must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added after your reservation has been confirmed.

2. Echo Flex Fee

The Echo Flex fee is a once-off, non-refundable charge and is separate from your accommodation charges.

3. Cancellation Benefits

3.1 Cancellations 48 Hours or More Before Check-in

If you cancel your reservation 48 hours or more before your scheduled check-in time, you will receive a refund of your accommodation charges, less:

  • The Echo Flex fee

3.2 Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Check-in

If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before check-in, Echo Mountain Inn will attempt to re-sell your room.

If the room is successfully re-booked for the same dates, you will receive a refund of your accommodation charges, less:

  • The Echo Flex fee

If the room cannot be re-sold, no refund will be payable.

3.3 Cancellation Within 12 Hours of Check-in

Cancellations made on the scheduled day of arrival, after check-in time, or in the event of a no-show are not eligible for a refund under Echo Flex.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Please allow 7–14 business days for processing.

5. Exclusions

Echo Flex does not apply to:

  • No-shows.

  • Early departures.

  • Shortened stays after check-in.

  • Group bookings (3 or more rooms).

  • Bookings made through third-party travel agents or online travel agencies where their own cancellation policies apply.

6. General Conditions

  • Based on a Check In Time of 14H00 CAT

  • Echo Flex is valid only for the booking on which it was purchased.

  • It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

  • The Echo Flex fee is non-refundable.

  • Echo Mountain Inn reserves the right to verify all cancellation requests and determine whether a room has been successfully re-booked.

  • These Terms & Conditions are subject to applicable South African law.
